Role Description The Human Resources Specialist at Nobody Turned Down is a part-time, remote role focused on supporting inclusive and compliant HR practices. On a day-to-day basis, this role will help administer and interpret HR policies, support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and assist with personnel records and documentation. The specialist will coordinate employee benefits information, respond to HR-related inquiries, and help ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and internal guidelines. This role will also contribute to HR projects such as process improvements, policy updates, and initiatives that promote a positive and equitable employee experience.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits.
• Candidates should possess experience in Personnel Management and employee support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and proficiency with HR software or HRIS tools.
• Understanding of employment law and best practices in inclusive, non-discriminatory HR processes.
• Previous experience in an HR generalist or specialist role is preferred; relevant certification or coursework in HR is a plus.
