Co-Founder, LEGO & Recommerce Stealth Retail Startup

We’re experienced retail entrepreneurs building a new retail concept that brings together LEGO, recommerce, gifting, and community—and we’re looking for a hands-on co-founder to lead the LEGO side of the business.

We are opening our first location in DUMBO Brooklyn in Spring of 2027.

Our goal is to create a welcoming destination for collectors, families, and gift buyers. You’ll help shape the business from the beginning, owning product sourcing, pricing, inventory, and ecommerce while helping run our first store.

What you’ll own

• Buying and sourcing: Build relationships with sellers, evaluate collections, manage trade-ins, and develop an exciting assortment of sets, minifigures, and bricks.


• Pricing and market intelligence: Track resale values, identify buying opportunities, and manage relationships with platforms such as BrickLink and BrickEconomy.


• Product and inventory: Establish standards for authenticity, condition, completeness, sorting, and inventory accuracy.


• Ecommerce: Manage online listings, merchandising, inventory synchronization, fulfillment, and customer service.


• Retail and programming: Work with customers, train staff on LEGO products, support daily store operations, and develop build activities for events and parties.

Who you are

You know LEGO deeply and understand—or have firsthand experience with—the economics of buying and reselling it. You’re organized, commercially minded, comfortable with ecommerce tools, and excited to roll up your sleeves in a physical store.

You might be a reseller, collector, retail operator, or LEGO entrepreneur ready to build something bigger. Direct experience (and passion!) with LEGO matters more than a particular résumé.
