Director of Manufacturing Operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical field


• 8+ years of industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or operations improvement experience


• 3+ years of leadership experience managing engineering or continuous improvement teams


• Experience leading or overseeing applications engineering teams or work


• Proven success in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment


• Support experience with ERP-driven manufacturing environments


• Strong background in process optimization and manufacturing systems


• Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance standards

Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineering professionals while aligning departmental goals with business objectives.


• Drive initiatives to eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks, improve labor productivity, and optimize workflow efficiency.


• Develop manufacturing capacity models, forecast labor requirements, and evaluate make-versus-buy decisions.


• Lead process analysis efforts, improve material flow, and optimize facility layouts and work cell design.


• Develop operational dashboards, analyze manufacturing data, and lead automation and technology implementation projects.
