About the Role

This Plant Manager position is based at a single-site packaging and industrial operation in Baltimore. You will take full responsibility for leading day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality output across production, maintenance and site support functions. Working closely with operations teams, you will drive performance, optimise processes and implement best practices to meet production targets, cost objectives and customer expectations. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping the culture on site, leading by example, developing teams and embedding a continuous improvement mindset throughout the plant.

Key Skills and Expertise

• Proven experience as a Plant Manager or senior operations leader in a single-site manufacturing environment
• Background in packaging, industrial, plastics or related manufacturing operations
• Strong operations management skills, covering production planning, performance metrics and cost control
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop cross-functional plant teams
• Track record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Solid understanding of health, safety and environmental practices in a plant setting
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, results-driven approach
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels on site
• Comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
