Plant Controller

Allied Personnel Services is seeking candidates for a Plant Controller opening! This career opportunity offers full time hours, a competitive benefits package, and $97,000-120,000/annually.

Responsibilities:

• lead month-end close including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, financial statement review, and variance analysis


• own/monitor manufacturing results including material, labor, overhead, inventory, and production variances


• maintain product standard costs, review bills of material and costing for new products


• develop budgets and forecasts


• oversee plant level cash activity, AP/AR, payroll, and accounting


• provide financial oversight for capital projects


• participate in production meetings and serve as adviser to plant leadership

Candidates for this role must have:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business


• 7+ years experience as a plant controller


• knowledge of GAACP, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis


• experience w/ manufacturing standard costing, inventory, and ERP systems


• experience analyzing production activity, inventory reserves, capital projects, etc.


• strong MS Excel skills
