This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Aviation Park location in North Charleston, SC, reporting to our Graphic Designer.

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and hands-on Marketing Assistant to support our small marketing team across social media, content creation, influencer partnerships, PR, events, and community engagement.

This is an execution-focused role for someone who takes initiative, thrives on collaboration, and enjoys turning ideas into action. The ideal candidate is resourceful, detail-oriented, and eager to help bring our marketing calendar, campaigns, and brand initiatives to life.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing social media channels, content calendars, posting, community engagement, and performance.


• Build and manage influencer and creator relationships, gifting and partnerships.


• Plan and execute partnerships and other community events.


• Support PR outreach, media relationships and earned-media opportunities.


• Write engaging and relevant copy for social, email, campaigns, products and events.


• Capture and produce authentic photos and videos to create engaging content for digital channels.


• Support execution of the marketing calendar, seasonal campaigns, and product launches.


• Coordinate across marketing, e-commerce, retail, product development, and design to keep initiatives moving.


• Track results and use performance data to improve future efforts.


• Support additional marketing initiatives as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in brand marketing, social media, community marketing, or communications.


• Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.


• Strong understanding of social platforms, creators, and community building.


• Stays current on social media trends, emerging platforms and digital content formats.


• Highly organized with strong project-management skills.


• Creative, resourceful, and comfortable working hands-on.


• Strong aesthetic judgment and appreciation for premium brands, craftsmanship and design.


• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.


• Experience in needlepoint, crafting, luxury/lifestyle, fashion, interiors or specialty retail is a plus.

The Marketing Assistant helps keep marketing initiatives organized, on schedule, and well executed. Social content is timely and engaging, events and campaigns run smoothly, and the team can rely on this person to manage details, follow through on assignments, and support day-to-day marketing activities.
