Compensation: $35 to $40/hour, with flexibility based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programming Specialist for a direct hire opportunity with an established manufacturing organization in the Syracuse, NY area.

This position is ideal for a skilled CNC professional with strong Mastercam experience who can independently develop programs, interpret technical drawings, and support machining operations in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.


• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.


• Support CNC milling operations and troubleshoot programming challenges.


• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure accuracy and efficiency.


• Assist with programming adjustments, machining processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Maintain accurate programming documentation and follow established procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of CNC programming experience.


• Strong hands-on proficiency with Mastercam.


• Ability to independently develop CNC programs.


• Experience with CNC milling operations.


• Proficiency interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming complex components.


• Familiarity with multi-axis machining.


• Background in precision manufacturing.


• Relevant technical education or training.
