Significant involvement with large tax compliance engagements for complex organizations at a major public accounting firm Experience with tax issues relating to employee benefit plans Experience with international individual and corporate taxation Experience with tax issues affecting non-profit organizations Experience with compliance issues relating to payroll and unclaimed property Experience performing as a subject matter expert for multiple corporate departments (finance, legal, investments, human resources, compliance, etc.) as well as managing relationships with external tax advisors Ability to self-manage Superior organizational skills Experienced in both tax preparation and tax review Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills - ability to effectively communicate with senior management as well as with external counsels, advisors and consultants Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze, interpret & make sound business decisions Strong people management skills – needs to effectively coach and develop employees Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)applications EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: BABS in Accounting or related field required CPA is required Minimum of 15 years of tax experience with a major public accounting firm or corporate tax department Managerial or Team Lead experience required5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386 read more
