Account Manager- Grounds Maintenance & Landscape Enhancements

Glen Allen Grounds is seeking an experienced, relationship-focused Account Manager to join our growing team.

We are a well-established Richmond-area landscaping company specializing in high-quality grounds maintenance, landscape enhancements, and outdoor living spaces. We take pride in our craftsmanship, communication, and the long-term relationships we build with our clients.

This is a client-facing role combining account management, property oversight, estimating, and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow their portfolio.

• Manage and develop relationships with residential and select commercial maintenance clients.


• Conduct regular property inspections to evaluate service quality and identify improvements.


• Prepare customized maintenance proposals and landscape enhancement estimates.


• Respond promptly to client inquiries and new sales opportunities.


• Work closely with our operations team to coordinate job expectations, materials, scheduling, and execution.


• Oversee client satisfaction and follow up on completed projects.


• Assist with landscape installation layouts and project planning when necessary.


• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships while maintaining profitability and service standards.

• Experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, landscape enhancements, or a closely related field preferred.


• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.


• Ability to prepare estimates, manage multiple priorities, and maintain organized client records.


• Working knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and plant material.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


• Comfortable working both in the office and outdoors at client properties.
