<h1 >General Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator</h1><h2 >Job Summary</h2><p >We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Warehouse Worker with forklift experience to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, storing, moving, and preparing materials for shipment while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical tasks, operating warehouse equipment, and working as part of a team.</p><h2 >Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2><ul ><li>Load and unload materials, products, and shipments safely and efficiently.</li><li>Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move and store products.</li><li>Receive, inspect, and organize incoming inventory.</li><li>Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment.</li><li>Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas as needed.</li><li>Verify quantities and inspect products for damage or discrepancies.</li><li>Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.</li><li>Follow shipping, receiving, and material-handling procedures.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.</li><li>Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.</li><li>Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned.</li></ul><h2 >Education Requirements</h2><ul ><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Basic math and reading skills required.</li></ul><h2 >Qualifications & Work Experience</h2><ul ><li>Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.</li><li>Previous forklift experience required.</li><li>Valid forklift certification preferred; must meet company requirements for equipment operation.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.</li><li>Basic computer skills and inventory documentation experience preferred.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.</li><li>Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.</li></ul><h2 >Preferred Skills & Experience</h2><ul ><li>Experience with shipping and receiving.</li><li>Experience with inventory control and order picking.</li><li>Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.</li><li>Experience using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.</li><li>Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.</li></ul><h2 >Work Environment & Physical Requirements</h2><ul ><li>Warehouse or manufacturing environment.</li><li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.</li><li>Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.</li><li>Must follow all workplace safety requirements and proper material-handling procedures.</li></ul><p>#Warwick</p>PandoLogic.
