Our client, a real estate firm, is looking to hire a freelance Director of Marketing ASAP! This role is onsite in NYC 4x/week - no exceptions. Prior real estate experience required!

Responsibilities:

• Lead marketing strategy, team development, budgeting, and performance reporting.
• Drive digital marketing across paid media, SEO/SEM, ILS platforms, websites, CRM, social media, and reputation management.
• Oversee physical and experiential marketing, including signage, collateral, property launches, rebrands, and resident events.
• Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring quality, efficiency, and measurable ROI.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, asset management, and regional teams to support occupancy, leasing velocity, and NOI goals.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive marketing experience; multifamily real estate experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams, budgets, agencies, and vendors.
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, analytics, branding, and experiential marketing.
• A strategic, collaborative, data-driven leader who can connect marketing initiatives to business results.
