Client Services Representative

Our client is seeking a highly organized and responsive Client Service Specialist to support its commercial trucking insurance practice. This role manages high‑volume transactional service, maintains accurate account documentation, and ensures client requests are completed promptly and professionally. It offers an excellent opportunity for an emerging commercial insurance professional to develop specialized expertise in trucking and motor carrier risks while contributing to the growth of a new, transportation‑focused agency.

This position is exclusively dedicated to commercial trucking and motor carrier accounts. It does not service personal lines or general commercial industries.

Primary Responsibilities

• Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property coverage, and auto identification cards in accordance with agency procedures and policy terms.


• Process routine driver, vehicle, equipment, address, garaging, lienholder, and loss‑payee changes with accuracy and timeliness.


• Prepare endorsement requests and monitor them through completion, ensuring proper delivery and documentation.


• Enter activities, contacts, attachments, policy details, and service documentation into Applied Epic with consistency and precision.


• Request and organize loss runs, claims summaries, MVRs, schedules, applications, and other underwriting materials.


• Support account onboarding by assembling policy documents, schedules, billing information, contacts, and client records.


• Assist with renewal‑data collection and follow up on outstanding client information.


• Monitor open activities and carrier items, escalating delays or discrepancies when appropriate.


• Review completed endorsements and documents for basic accuracy before routing them to the Account Manager.


• Respond promptly and professionally to routine client requests, directing coverage‑related questions to licensed account staff.


• Provide administrative and processing support to the Service Manager, Account Managers, and producers.


• Follow agency documentation, quality‑control, confidentiality, and compliance procedures at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of commercial insurance, insurance administration, or closely related experience.


• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.


• Ability to manage repetitive, time‑sensitive transactions accurately and efficiently.


• Professional written and verbal communication skills.


• Comfort learning commercial insurance systems, terminology, forms, and procedures.


• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with client information.


• Willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty license if not currently licensed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Applied Epic or another agency management system.


• Commercial lines experience involving certificates, endorsements, auto schedules, or policy documentation.


• Direct commercial trucking insurance experience strongly preferred.


• Current Illinois Property & Casualty license.


• Experience working in a fast‑growing agency or service‑driven environment.

• Applied Epic contains complete, organized, and timely documentation.


• Account Managers can focus on renewals, coverage, and client relationships because transactional work is well‑managed.


• The specialist develops increasing commercial and transportation expertise and assumes greater account responsibility over time.
