Position: Protection and Control (P&C) Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Lead P&C Engineer Pay Rate: $65-$75 h/r

P&C Engineer: $40-$45 h/r

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2-8+ years of substation protection & control design and/or field testing/commissioning experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience executing substation P&C projects.
• Ability to read/design one-line, three-line, AC/DC schematic and wiring drawings.
• Strong communication, analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to project/client sites.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Designing substation P&C projects from 12kV through 500kV, including relay one-lines, three-line AC schematics, DC protection schematics, panel layouts/wiring, BOMs and QC checks. They'll support projects from scoping through final design/implementation and construction support while working with engineers, designers and CAD technicians.
