Construction Manager

Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cincinnati, OH. This position oversees day-to-day construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and monitoring progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope. The role includes reviewing plans and specifications, enforcing site safety standards, conducting inspections, and resolving issues that arise during construction. The Construction Manager will track project costs, support budgeting and forecasting, and prepare regular status reports for leadership and stakeholders. This role also involves maintaining strong communication with architects, engineers, clients, and internal teams to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with project goals. This role will report to the VP of Construction.

Qualifications

• 5-10yr Construction Management experience.


• Demonstrated Supervisory Skills and experience leading on-site construction teams and subcontractors.


• Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, including monitoring expenditures and supporting financial forecasts.


• Knowledge of Construction Safety practices and regulations, with a track record of promoting safe work environments.


• Hands-on Construction experience, including familiarity with building methods, materials, and site operations.


• Experience with Project Control, including scheduling, progress tracking, and issue resolution.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.


• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.


• Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.


• Proficiency with construction management software and standard office productivity tools.
