Real Estate Operations Manager

The Synergy Group of Compass is a growing residential real estate team serving the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. We’re collaborative, energetic, client-focused, and always looking for a better way to work.

We’re hiring an Operations Manager who loves organization, embraces technology, and gets excited about making a business run better. You’ll own the systems, processes, and daily coordination that keep our team moving—and help us use AI and automation to work smarter as we grow.

• Own day-to-day operations, team workflows, SOPs, calendars, onboarding, and internal coordination.


• Manage our CRM, transaction platforms, Google Workspace, and internal dashboards; keep data accurate and actionable.


• Identify and implement practical AI tools, automations, and integrations that save time and improve the client experience.


• Oversee transaction milestones, contracts, deadlines, documentation, and communication from contract to closing.


• Coordinate listing preparation, vendors, photography, staging, signage, and marketing launches alongside our marketing team.


• Track business metrics, pipeline, invoices, expenses, and operational performance to support leadership decisions.

• Take initiative, solve problems, and enjoy making processes better—not just maintaining them.


• Are detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.


• Are tech-confident, curious about AI, and eager to experiment thoughtfully with new tools.


• Communicate warmly and professionally with clients, vendors, and teammates.


• Bring positive energy, accountability, and a team-first approach.

Experience in real estate operations, transaction coordination, CRM administration, or another fast-paced service business is highly valued. Familiarity with Follow Up Boss, ZipForms, Google Workspace, or AI productivity tools is a plus.

$80,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience. This is an in-person role in Chevy Chase/Friendship Heights, Maryland. Employer-sponsored health insurance and other discretionary benefits are not currently offered; applicable legally required leave and benefits will be provided. No additional incentive compensation is currently specified.
