About the Position

Life and Light Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and qualified Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to provide overnight in-home care and medication support for two children in Frederick, Maryland.

We are looking for a caring professional who is attentive to the children's needs, prioritizes their safety and well-being, and can provide a calm, supportive, and nurturing home environment throughout the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and in accordance with applicable Maryland regulations and agency policies.
• Accurately document all medication administration and related care.
• Monitor the children's condition and promptly report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or appropriate agency staff.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs), as needed.
• Provide appropriate overnight supervision and support according to each child's individual care plan.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with supervising nurses, agency staff, and the family.
• Follow all care plans, safety procedures, and child-specific instructions.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and attentive to children's needs.
• Previous pediatric, home care, or caregiving experience preferred.

Work Schedule

• Days: Six nights per week — Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Wednesday: Off.
• Hours: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
• Setting: Private home in Frederick, Maryland.
