Real Estate Associate

A leading real estate investment firm is looking to hire a Real Estate Associate to join its growing team in Nashville, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established investment platform with a strong presence in the real estate market and gain exposure to a broad range of investment activities, transactions, and asset management initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior investment professionals across the full investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, financial underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio management. This role is suited to a driven, analytical professional with a strong foundation in real estate finance and a desire to take on increasing responsibility within an institutional investment environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities across relevant property sectors and markets.


• Build and maintain detailed financial models, cash flow projections, and investment analyses to assess potential returns and risk.


• Conduct market research, comparable property analysis, and due diligence to support investment decisions.


• Assist with the execution of acquisitions and dispositions, including financial analysis, transaction structuring, and coordination with external advisors.


• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment partners.


• Support the development and implementation of business plans for existing portfolio assets.


• Monitor asset-level financial performance, operating metrics, budgets, and forecasts to identify opportunities for value creation.


• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the investment and asset management process.


• Track market trends, capital markets activity, and industry developments to identify emerging investment opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.


• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience in real estate acquisitions, investments, asset management, real estate private equity, investment banking, or a related field.


• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel.


• Understanding of real estate valuation methodologies, cash flow analysis, and investment return metrics.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.


• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• A proactive, commercially minded approach and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.


• Familiarity with Nashville's real estate market or broader Southeast markets is a plus.
