Job Description

About the Company

Conversa Corps is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit transforming multi-organizational crisis coordination through digital collaboration infrastructure. We operate Aid Arena, a free, facilitated Slack-based collaboration workspace serving 950+ member accounts across 550+ organizations globally, enabling humanitarian, disaster response, public safety, and aid organizations to coordinate effectively during crises and year-round. Our mission is to unite aid providers—from local volunteers to global organizations—in seamless collaboration that maximizes collective impact and brings hope to communities in crisis.

About the Role

Conversa Corps is a startup nonprofit with a big mission: we help the helpers converse and collaborate. Right now we're in a strong push to recruit the skilled volunteers who will get this mission off the ground, and we need a seasoned recruiter to lead the way. You'll be the primary user of our LinkedIn Recruiter account, use your expertise to turn our job descriptions into ads that draw talented professionals to give their time, and build a full pipeline of qualified candidates for roles across every team.

The Recruiting Partner leads our candidate pipeline, from job ad to accepted offer. Reporting to the People Officer, you'll post roles, manage recruiting projects, and actively source skilled professionals for open positions across the organization. Working closely with hiring managers, you'll shape our job descriptions into ads that appeal to experienced professionals willing to volunteer, screen applicants, and coordinate interviews so hiring managers have strong candidates to choose from. Once a hiring manager makes a selection, you'll notify the candidate, confirm their continued interest and acceptance, and hand them off to our People team for onboarding.

Our recruiting today is primarily for volunteer roles, and it will expand to include paid positions as funding grows.

This is a volunteer position requiring 8 to 10 hours per week.
