Electrical Superintendent – Data Center Construction

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale data center construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, managing field teams, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring construction activities meet established safety, quality, and schedule requirements.

The ideal candidate brings strong electrical construction expertise, proven field leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily electrical construction activities at data center project sites.


• Lead electrical crews, subcontractors, and other field personnel to ensure efficient execution of work.


• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and other trade teams.


• Monitor construction progress, workforce productivity, and project milestones.


• Ensure all electrical installations comply with applicable codes, safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.


• Interpret electrical drawings, construction plans, and technical specifications.


• Identify field challenges, troubleshoot installation issues, and implement timely solutions.


• Coordinate the availability of materials, tools, equipment, and labor resources.


• Conduct field inspections and monitor workmanship to maintain project quality.


• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site-specific safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.


• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Electrical General Foreman, or in a comparable supervisory position.


• Experience overseeing electrical construction activities on large-scale projects.


• Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, construction practices, and safety requirements.


• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.


• Demonstrated experience leading field crews, managing subcontractors, and coordinating construction schedules.


• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work onsite at designated project locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with data center construction or other mission-critical facilities.


• Familiarity with complex electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, and critical facility requirements.


• Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing work in schedule-driven construction environments.


• Knowledge of construction quality control, site safety programs, and project documentation.
