- Review early-stage technical assessments, layouts, site configurations, feasibility studies, single-line diagrams, high-voltage yard configurations, and metering schemes.
- Optimize solar PV designs and economics, including DC/AC ratio, ground coverage ratio, performance ratio, equipment selection, electrical losses, grading, and levelized cost of energy; evaluate PV modules.
- Review PVsyst models, energy production studies, and hourly 8,760 output data for alignment with project assumptions and expected performance.
- Evaluate BESS design and integration, including sizing, capacity, efficiency, availability, overbuild and augmentation strategies, operating requirements, auxiliary loads, metering, reactive power, and interconnection compliance.
- Review technical specifications and procurement packages for owner-furnished equipment, including high-voltage circuit breakers, main power transformers, inverters, and other major electrical equipment; support bids, supplier evaluations, and procurement recommendations.
- Support module manufacturing quality requirements, including project quality plans, batch testing, and pre-shipment inspections; assess BESS suppliers, integrators, and emerging storage technologies.
