- Risk and Compliance Support: Help identify issues requiring legal review and ensure matters are appropriately documented and escalated.
- Process Improvement: Develop and refine templates, workflows, tracking systems, and procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Executive Support: Provide the CEO with organized updates on open legal matters, outstanding decisions, deadlines, and priorities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in corporate or commercial paralegal work.
- Experience working in-house or within a small law firm supporting business clients.
- Strong experience with commercial contracts, NDAs, and general corporate documentation.
- Experience supporting collections, demand letters, or related legal processes.
- Ability to manage matters independently and determine when attorney involvement is necessary.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and deadline management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A practical, solutions-oriented mindset with an interest in building efficient processes.
- Comfortable working directly with executive leadership in a fast-paced business environment.
Florida notary status and experience supporting businesses across multiple states are a plus.
