Safety Specialist

Our client is looking for a proactive Safety Specialist to help drive a world-class safety culture within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, leading safety initiatives, conducting training, and partnering with employees and leadership to create a safe and productive workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments


• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions


• Lead new hire and ongoing safety training programs


• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards


• Track and report safety metrics and regulatory requirements


• Support emergency preparedness, hazard mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives


• Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and eliminate workplace risks

Qualifications:

• Degree in Safety, EHS, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred


• ASP, CSP, OSHA 30, or other safety certifications


• 3+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment


• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs


• Strong communication, training, and problem-solving skills
