  • Support SOX control testing for PTP key controls, including walkthroughs, sample selection, evidence collection, and validation that controls operated as designed.

  • Maintain the PTP risk and control matrix in collaboration with Compliance team, updating control descriptions, owners, and evidence requirements as processes and systems change.

  • Support the quarterly SOX sub-certification cycle by collecting control owner attestations and following up on outstanding items.

  • Document investigation workflows and maintain evidence trails for all remediated AP incidents to support compliance reviews.

  • Assist with segregation-of-duties and ERP access reviews, escalating discrepancies to the Manager, Compliance & Reporting.

  • Respond to ad hoc audit and Tax requests for documentation, data pulls, and control evidence.

  • Serve as a day-to-day contact for Internal Audit and external auditors, coordinating document requests, tracking due dates, and validating the completeness and accuracy of evidence before submission.

  • Track and document control exceptions, root causes, and remediation status.

  • Maintain a running log of open audit findings and remediation status to support ongoing audit readiness.

  • Partner with control owners to develop and track management action plans for SOX deficiencies and Internal Audit findings through closure, escalating overdue items to leadership.

  • Support quarterly or ad hoc control self-assessments (CSAs) in partnership with Internal Audit.

  • Identify and document process gaps or new requirements for inclusion in PTP SOPs.

  • Support preparation of executive-level reporting on Governance control health.

Month-End Close & Reconciliation

  • Execute month-end close activities within PTP, including accrual preparation, account reconciliations, journal entry support, and close checklist tracking, escalating unresolved items ahead of close deadlines.

  • Prepare and validate close-related reports, including AP aging and cash forecasting inputs, and maintain close templates and checklists to reflect current process.

  • Execute Oracle Fusion cost accounting processes, including transferring receipt transactions from Receiving to Costing and transferring cost data from Payables to Cost Management.

  • Generate and finalize receipt accounting distributions and subledger accounting (draft then final) by Bill-to Business Unit on the required hourly cadence, resolving accounting errors before proceeding.

  • Run and reconcile month-end PO accrual processes, including the accrual job set, receipt accrual matching, and the Accrual Reconciliation Report across all Requisition BUs, posting results for Controllership review.

  • Coordinate the Payables payment cycle with the Disbursement team; confirming completion and the following: reviewing and resuming payment process requests, submitting new payment runs, and importing Payables invoices, resolving any rejected records.

  • Support bank reconciliation activities, from loading bank statements through resolving un-reconciled statement lines.

  • Run and post Create Accounting for Payables to the General Ledger, resolve accounting exceptions, and perform the unaccounted transactions sweep, distributing output as required.

  • Manage Payables accounting period close, including opening the next period and reviewing the Period Close Exceptions Report.

  • Perform Payables-to-GL reconciliation, generating and scoping metrics to swept business units, and coordinating with Controllership on reporting.
