Engineering Project Engineer (No third party applicants please)

Project Engineer — New Model Launch | Liberty, NC

12-month on-site | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We're hiring a Project Engineer to support new model launch at a large manufacturing facility — coordinating across engineering, project management, construction, and purchasing from development through start of production.

What you'll do:

- Drive project milestones and KPIs for new model launch across multiple divisions (domestic + international)

- Primary contact for cross-group coordination with the site's battery manufacturing organization

- Identify and resolve launch execution issues; lead countermeasures to prevent recurrence

- Define and report KPIs/milestones via the Battery Master Operation Plan; standardize reporting

- Lead project and trial Obeyas

- Coordinate building preparation milestones, installation kickoffs, and construction Obeyas

- Support pre-production trials — trial parts orders, schedules, KPI management

What you'll bring:

- Bachelor's degree (or 5+ yrs equivalent project experience)

- 5+ yrs in a project-related role; capital investment projects >$1M

- KPI setting, visualization, and reporting to senior/executive leadership

- Detailed schedule creation and milestone tracking

- MS Office proficiency; multi-task across conflicting deadlines

Nice to have: supplier management, battery/automotive manufacturing, Three Pillar or gated (BRAD) management, TBP problem solving

Details: On-site Liberty, NC · 8-hr days · ~10% travel (none at start) · weekend/shutdown support as needed · PPE required
