Job Description

US based consulting firm is seeking a motivated, organized, driven leader to head our practice management division. We are looking for a fast-paced, driven individual with deep knowledge in physician revenue cycle management to join our team. This role is the perfect fit for someone who is established in healthcare consulting looking for a new role.

  • Lead physician practice revenue cycle operations. Oversee the full revenue cycle, from patient access, eligibility, and authorizations through charge capture, coding coordination, billing, payment posting, denials, and collections.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor. Provide subject matter expertise to clients and consulting colleagues on professional billing, reimbursement, revenue integrity, and operational best practices.

  • Assess performance and identify opportunities. Evaluate workflows, staffing, systems, and financial results to uncover revenue leakage, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Turn recommendations into results. Develop and implement actionable improvement plans that accelerate cash flow, reduce accounts receivable, prevent denials, and strengthen net collections.

  • Build strong client relationships. Partner with physicians, practice leaders, and executives to understand priorities, communicate findings, and guide decisions.

  • Make performance visible. Develop dashboards, analyses, forecasts, and executive presentations that connect operational performance to financial outcomes.

  • Guide transformation. Lead workflow redesign, standardization, system optimization, automation, and other initiatives across practices, locations, and specialties.

  • Resolve complex payer issues. Direct denial prevention and appeals strategies, reimbursement analysis, payer escalations, and contract performance reviews.

  • Develop teams and strengthen accountability. Coach revenue cycle leaders and staff, establish clear expectations, and support effective staffing and productivity models.

  • Support compliant, consistent operations. Establish policies, training, audits, and controls aligned with regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, and client standards.

  • Improve the patient financial experience. Help practices deliver clear, efficient, and respectful financial services.

  • Manage key partnerships. Evaluate and oversee billing vendors, clearinghouses, collection agencies, and technology providers.
