Chief Lending Officer

Chief Lending Officer (CLO)-Senior-level leadership position reporting directly to the President/CEO.

Community bank seeking an experienced Chief Lending Officer to lead its lending team and drive loan growth while maintaining strong credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage lending staff.


• Develop and execute loan production and portfolio growth strategies.


• Generate new business and maintain relationships with referral sources.


• Oversee CRE, foreign national residential, and C&I lending.


• Review and approve loans within lending authority.


• Present credit requests to the Loan Committee.


• Monitor portfolio quality, pipeline, and lender performance.


• Ensure compliance with credit policies and BSA/AML requirements.

Requirements:

• 10–15+ years of commercial lending experience.


• 5+ years in senior lending management.


• Strong CRE underwriting and loan structuring experience.


• Foreign national residential lending experience preferred.


• Proven loan production/business development track record.


• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
