Home Daily CDL-A Truck Driver

The Class A Truck Driver will transport grain, flour, and other materials for our customers locally. This position is primarily responsible for providing Class A driving support to our local flour mill, requiring compliance with all DOT and Company Safety Regulations.

1. $28.56/hr

2. Day & Night shifts available

3. Home daily completing yard moves, local deliveries, rail transfers, and sanitizing pneumatic trailers

4. Begin and end your day in Richmond, Utah

CDL TRUCK DRIVER RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complete Local pick ups and deliveries

2. Move trailers away from the dock, and place empty trailers for preloading

3. Move loaded and empty trailers around the property at customer’s direction

4. Stage trailers at the customer to be unloaded

5. Load/Unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight, if required.

6. Transfer materials from railcars to trailers

7. Confirm accuracy of BOL’s, Seals and trailer numbers

8. Assist in moving equipment into and out of the wash facilities

9. Aid in the Sanitization of Pneumatic Trailers

10. Travel equipment to local facilities for services

11. Use an Electronic Logging Device to maintain your Hours of Service

12. Complete daily pre and post trips inspections, including preventative maintenance

13. Constantly communicate with Supervisor and Customer Manager to meet needs timely

14. Ensure compliance with all Company, Local, State and Federal regulations

15. Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working condition

16. Must be professional and courteous to customers and fellow employees

17. Be on-time, making customer service a priority

18. Must be punctual.

19. Ability to work in all weather conditions

20. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

CDL TRUCK DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have Class A verifiable Tractor-Trailer experience in last 5 years

2. Working knowledge of Van, Pneumatic, and Hopper trailers preferred.

3. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions in English.

4. Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Climbing into and out of tractors, and on top of trailers

2. Cranking of landing gear

3. Lifting, as needed

4. Periods of sitting while operating a CMV

5. Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather conditions
