Heavy Equipment Service Manager

C&C Industrial is seeking an experienced, hands-on Heavy Equipment Service Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations supporting our construction equipment, commercial trucks, concrete pumps, and support fleet.

This is a working leadership position for someone who brings strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, enjoys leading technicians, and understands the importance of keeping equipment operational and construction projects moving.

What You'll Do

• Lead and schedule shop mechanics and field service personnel, balancing preventive maintenance with urgent equipment repairs.


• Personally assist with diagnosing and resolving difficult diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems.


• Oversee maintenance and repair of excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, commercial trucks, concrete pumps, and other construction equipment.


• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules, inspections, work orders, and equipment service histories.


• Coordinate with construction and logistics leadership to prioritize repairs, minimize downtime, and return equipment to service.


• Manage parts inventory, outside repair vendors, and routine maintenance expenditures.


• Maintain a safe, organized, productive shop and promote accountability and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

• Strong, recent hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment.


• Experience supervising mechanics, coordinating repairs, or leading maintenance operations.


• Solid understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.


• Ability to read technical diagrams, troubleshoot equipment problems, and guide technicians through complex repairs.


• Experience organizing preventive maintenance and tracking equipment repair activity.


• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


• Willingness to remain actively involved in equipment troubleshooting and repairs when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, or similar heavy construction equipment.


• Experience with concrete pumps or other specialized construction machinery.


• Familiarity with SAGE or comparable fleet maintenance and equipment management systems.
