Accounting Specialist

Southern Indiana | $25-$30/Hour

A growing industrial company is seeking an AP & AR Clerk to join its team in a highly visible role that blends accounting, customer service, operations, and plant administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable invoices and resolve vendor discrepancies
• Support light Accounts Receivable and customer billing activities
• Operate truck scales, generate tickets, and maintain scale documentation
• Prepare operational and financial reports
• Process credit card payments and assist with account activity
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Partner with Accounting and Operations leadership on reporting and administrative projects
• Provide general plant administrative support in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excel proficiency
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, drivers, and internal teams
• Adaptable, team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn multiple aspects of the business
• Prior AP, administrative, customer service, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Available to work 6AM-4PM (averaging 45 hours) - Will get OT pay!
