Named "U.S. Small Agency of the Year" for 3 consecutive years and ranked among the top 30 "Best U.S. Agencies to Work For" for 10 straight years, our team operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where data-driven strategy meets high-impact creative execution.
The Overview
We are looking for a sharp, analytical, and highly organized Digital Creative Strategist to join our growing team in Baltimore. Sitting at the intersection of performance marketing, creative strategy, and analytics, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing digital campaigns that convert.
In this role, you won't just generate creative ideas—you will dig into the data to understand why creative works or doesn’t work; and use those insights to direct designers, refine messaging, and execute winning performance assets. You will report to and collaborate closely with senior creative strategy leadership while working cross-functionally with our design, digital media, and account teams.
Responsibilities
- Performance Creative Strategy: Translate performance marketing data and audience insights into actionable creative hypotheses, messaging angles, and ad concepts—primarily focused on direct-response Meta campaigns.
- Creative Direction & Collaboration: Brief, guide, and collaborate with design team members, delivering clear, constructive feedback to produce high-converting digital assets at scale.
- Flawless Asset QA: Oversee meticulous quality assurance and proofreading across hundreds of design deliverables to ensure complete accuracy, brand alignment, and technical compliance.
- Data Synthesis & Reporting: Analyze spreadsheet-level performance metrics (Conversion Rates, ROAS, CPA) to uncover key creative trends and translate complex data into clear recommendations for digital and account teams.
- Creative Testing & Iteration: Build creative testing roadmaps, isolate key variables (hooks, visual formats, CTAs), and continuously test and iterate assets to improve campaign efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a proactive communicator and problem solver across account, digital, and design teams to refine workflows and ensure smooth campaign delivery.
What You Bring
- Direct-Response & Paid Social Experience: Proven experience analyzing and executing direct-response ad campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Meta platforms and creative strategy execution.
- Data & Spreadsheet Literacy: High proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and handling large data sets & creative feeds.
- Analytical Curiosity: A natural instinct to look beyond surface-level reporting, ask "why," and test new hypotheses to drive performance improvements.
- Detail-Oriented & QA Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of proofreading and directing visual assets across multiple project deliverables without error.
- Proactive Problem Solving: A self-starter mentality that continually looks for ways to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and adapt quickly.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate creative direction to designers and data insights to account managers.
The Bonus List (Nice-to-Haves)
- Copywriting Aptitude & AI Critique: Ability to write clear, compelling ad copy and effectively critique or refine AI-generated copy output.
- Ethical AI & Prompt Engineering: Understanding of effective AI prompt structures to streamline repetitive creative tasks while maintaining output quality.
- Testing Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with structured creative testing methodologies and variable isolation.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Comfort using tools like Google Workspace (Slides, Docs), Asana, Slack, and Figma.
