Hirevantis LLC is a premier IT staffing and technology solutions provider. We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Business Analyst with 3 years of experience to join our growing team. In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution teams, transforming complex datasets into actionable business intelligence. The ideal candidate possesses a robust blend of technical data capabilities (SQL, BI tools) and strong Agile/Scrum process management acumen.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Conduct comprehensive requirement elicitation sessions with cross-functional stakeholders, business product owners (POs), and management. Author detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Data Visualization & Analytics: Develop, maintain, and optimize robust interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to track KPIs and business metrics.
• Process Modeling & Optimization: Evaluate legacy and new application workflows, creating detailed process maps, flowcharts, and diagrams to improve operational performance and data delivery value.
• Database & Query Management: Design data models and implement efficient query development, data mapping, and query optimization utilizing Microsoft SQL Server or related SQL databases.
• Agile Execution: Actively participate in or lead Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospectives) within Jira/Azure DevOps environments.
• Solution Validation: Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documenting scenarios and working closely with QA and engineering teams to resolve underlying product issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience: Exactly 2–4 years of technical business analysis experience, preferably within an Agile software development or IT solutions environment.
• Technical Stack:
• High proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Hands-on expertise with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Strong mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and the ability to clearly translate complex technical data points to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for large dataset parsing.
• Experience working on US job market analytics, staffing, or talent intelligence platforms.
• Industry certifications such as IIBA-ECBA / CCBA or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
