Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards of practice
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and ensure positive patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses using the facility's electronic documentation system
• Adhere to unit-specific floating policies and patient experience standards as directed by facility leadership

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Compliance with all facility credentialing, health, and background requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new care team environments
