TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location

Greensboro, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac patients with diagnoses including Congestive Heart Failure, rule-out Myocardial Infarction, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Arrhythmias
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions such as COPD, Pneumonia, and Respiratory Failure
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry for assigned patients
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules during the onboarding period
• Pass a compliance EKG exam (up to 2 attempts allowed) prior to or during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Valid, current driver's license required
• No open background check cases permitted
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for patients with NSTEMI, Heart Failure, or Respiratory Failure in a stepdown or PCU setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with multi-campus health system environments
