Java Tech Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java technologies, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and team leadership. This role requires hands-on technical leadership, stakeholder interaction, and mentoring of development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.


• Architect and develop microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.


• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.


• Mentor and guide developers on technical solutions and design approaches.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.


• Drive CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices.


• Participate in architectural discussions and technology evaluations.


• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Java development.


• Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8/11/17.


• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.


• Strong experience in Microservices architecture.


• Experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations.


• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).


• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.


• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging technologies.


• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.


• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Financial Services/Banking domain experience.


• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.


• Prior experience leading development teams.
