Job Description

Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Senior Program Manager – AI Builder to help transform a high-impact Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategic Initiatives team from AI-assisted to AI-native operations for the world's largest professional network

Title: Senior Program Manager – AI Builder, GTM Strategic Initiatives

Location: New York, NY | San Francisco, CA | Detroit, MI

Work Model: Hybrid – 2+ days per week in office; flexible days

Duration: 6 months contract, with potential for extension

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will identify opportunities to eliminate manual work, design and deploy AI-powered workflows, and build reusable agents, prompts, and automation tools that enable program managers to operate more efficiently. You will partner closely with senior program managers and team leadership to turn ideas into practical solutions, ship improvements rapidly, and measure their impact on day-to-day work. This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on AI builder who combines program management expertise, a user-first mindset, and a strong bias for action to shape the next generation of AI-enabled business operations.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Drive the AI transformation roadmap: Partner with team leadership to define and execute the roadmap for transitioning to an AI-native program management practice, from individual productivity enhancements to team-wide automation and intelligent orchestration.

  • Build AI-powered workflows: Design, develop, deploy, and continuously improve automations that reduce manual effort across status reporting, meeting preparation and follow-ups, progress tracking, decision logs, and playbook creation.

  • Connect business systems and data: Integrate workflows with systems of record and collaboration platforms, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, and business intelligence tools. Ensure reliable data access, schema management, permissions, and refresh processes.

  • Deliver iterative improvements: Ship usable solutions weekly or every one to two weeks, incorporating feedback and continuously improving functionality, reliability, and team-wide adoption.

  • Measure business impact: Define success metrics such as time saved per program manager, percentage of recurring work automated, and active usage of AI assets. Communicate outcomes and recommendations clearly to leadership.

  • Develop a reusable AI asset library: Create and maintain a centralized library of AI agents, prompts, skills, templates, and workflow automations that can be reused across programs.

  • Enable adoption and knowledge sharing: Work directly with program managers to understand their workflows, demonstrate solutions, conduct office hours, document processes, and transfer ownership so tools can be maintained and used independently.

  • Champion responsible AI: Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy, confidentiality, accuracy, and governance. Establish appropriate human-review checkpoints and ensure solutions align with internal responsible AI standards.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, product management, operations engineering, or a closely related field.

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience building LLM-based tools, such as AI agents, copilots, or prompt and skills libraries, for non-technical users.

  • At least 1 year of experience deploying automation into a real business workflow, with evidence of a solution that runs independently without ongoing manual intervention from its creator.

  • At least 1 year of experience with one or more relevant tools or platforms, such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Platform, or GitHub Copilot.

  • At least 1 year of experience integrating with systems of record, including managing data schemas, permissions, and refresh processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify manual or repetitive business processes and translate them into practical, reliable AI-powered workflows.

  • Strong understanding of program management fundamentals, including status reporting, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, decision tracking, and progress-to-goal reporting.

  • Ability to independently design, build, test, deploy, and iterate on solutions with limited direction.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain AI capabilities and workflows to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience as an AI builder, automation lead, or workflow automation specialist embedded within a Go-to-Market, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, or business operations team.

  • A track record of leading ambiguous, complex initiatives from concept through implementation and measurable business impact.

  • Experience designing agentic AI systems or multi-step workflows that support proactive risk identification, dependency mapping, and cross-program analysis.

  • Experience building and maintaining reusable internal libraries of AI agents, prompts, skills, templates, and automation assets.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, enterprise data environments, and business intelligence platforms.

  • Experience with change management, user training, enablement sessions, office hours, and adoption measurement.

  • Ability to assess program charters, RAID logs, dependency maps, status decks, and other program artifacts to identify opportunities for automation.

  • Experience establishing metrics and reporting frameworks to evaluate productivity improvements, workflow adoption, and automation effectiveness.

  • A strong perspective on how AI and agentic systems can reshape program management and drive meaningful business outcomes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Program managers spend less time on repetitive administrative work and more time driving strategic outcomes.

  • AI-powered workflows are reliably deployed, regularly used, and continuously improved.

  • Reusable AI assets accelerate adoption and reduce duplicated effort across the team.

  • Productivity gains are measurable and communicated clearly to leadership.

  • The team establishes a scalable, responsible model for AI-native program management.

If you are energized by turning emerging AI capabilities into practical business solutions—and want to help redefine how a globally connected professional community operates—this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Technology, Communications, or a related field.

  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
