Job Description

Location: Monticello, IN


Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hr, depending on experience


2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-11:30 PM


Job Type: Temp-to-Hire





Have MIG or TIG welding experience? Join a growing manufacturer that designs and builds custom power modules and metal enclosures for industrial and commercial energy systems, including gensets, chillers, boilers, and switchgear.





This Welder position offers steady Monday-Friday hours and the opportunity to build your welding and fabrication skills while producing equipment used across a variety of industries.





Welder Job Duties


  • Perform MIG and TIG welding, including vertical and overhead welds

  • Read blueprints, weld prints, procedures, and specifications

  • Lay out and position metal parts using jigs, fixtures, and clamps

  • Set up welding equipment and verify finished welds meet specifications



Welder Requirements


  • Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school, OR 6 months-1 year of related welding experience, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Able to read blueprints, weld prints, welding procedures, and specifications

  • Able to use tape measures, welding equipment, and weld measuring devices

  • Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical requirements of the position

  • Basic math skills
