Role Description The Handwork Specialist is a part-time, on-site role based in Chantilly, VA. This position is responsible for performing manual finishing tasks such as folding, collating, inserting, packing, labeling, and assembling printed materials according to job specifications. The role includes reviewing work orders, following production instructions, and maintaining quality standards by inspecting materials for accuracy and defects. Qualifications

• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to perform repetitive handwork tasks accurately and efficiently.


• Attention to detail and basic quality control skills to verify counts, match components, and identify defects or inconsistencies.


• Basic understanding of print and fulfillment processes, including handling printed materials, packaging, and simple assembly tasks.


• Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, follow schedules, and meet production deadlines.


• Ability to read and follow written instructions, work orders, and labeling requirements with minimal supervision.


• Capability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes or materials within reasonable weight limits, and maintain a safe work environment.


• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production staff, supervisors, and other fulfillment team members.


• Prior experience in printing, fulfillment, warehousing, or similar handwork environments is preferred but not required.


• Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production needs.
