Director of Nursing - Home Health Care

My client is an established Home Health Care agency covering Broward and Palm Beach County. They are looking for an experienced clinical leader to oversee their Medicare operations, standardise processes across both offices and help drive the business towards a census of 250 patients.

The role:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight across the Broward and Palm Beach offices


• Manage clinical staff and support the delivery of high-quality patient care


• Oversee clinical compliance, documentation, quality assurance and regulatory requirements


• Lead survey preparation and ensure the agency is prepared for upcoming AHCA surveys


• Standardise policies, procedures and clinical processes across both offices


• Support business growth, helping increase the Medicare census from approximately 100 to 250 patients


• Build and maintain strong relationships with nurses and other healthcare professionals


• Provide hands-on nursing support when required


• Manage your own schedule between both offices, with flexibility based on operational needs


• Work directly with the Owner to strengthen the clinical operation and provide greater consistency and accountability

Required competencies:

• Current Florida RN licence


• Previous Home Health Care experience, ideally within Medicare


• Strong clinical leadership and staff management experience


• Previous survey preparation and regulatory compliance experience


• Ability to develop and implement consistent processes across multiple offices


• Strong nursing network and the ability to attract and retain quality clinical staff


• Independent, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic


• Team player who is open to new ideas and continuous improvement


• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills


• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how clinical performance supports business growth
