Manufacturing Engineering Manager

As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes, optimizing production efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in manufacturing engineering, project management, and team leadership will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility and the delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate, lead, manage, and mentor various teams within the organization


• Drive idea creation for process improvement for production and for the facility


• Manage efforts to identify root causes of issues negatively impacting production objectives


• Lead and coordinate a variety of identified and approved initiatives and projects designed to improve processes and performance


• Act as the Subject-Matter Expert (SME) to leadership for issues with facility, machines, and systems


• Create timelines and priority structure for in-progress projects that improve the facility and the production processes


• Oversee and lead factory-wide projects


• Collaborate with product development to manage additional engineering and production work


• Collaborate with the Controller to create and manage the capex


• Ensure establishment and discipline of effective manufacturing standard work is carried out

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, required


• Industrial Engineering (IE) or Certified Manufacturing Engineer (MFGE) certification, a plus


• Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred


• 8+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment


• 5 years’ experience in a Leadership role, preferably in a consumer goods manufacturing environment


• Experience with continuous improvement processes and CapEx


• Familiarity with CAD
