Lead Exceptional Resident Care as a Nursing Home Administrator in Collinsville, IL Healthcare Recruiting Specialists is seeking an experienced, compassionate Nursing Home Administrator to lead a skilled nursing and long-term care community in Collinsville, Illinois. What You Will Do: Lead daily operations for a nursing home or skilled nursing facility, ensuring safe, compassionate, resident-centered care and a welcoming environment for residents and families. Partner with clinical operations, nursing, rehabilitation, care management, admissions, and support teams to achieve quality, occupancy, patient satisfaction, and financial goals. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while supporting survey readiness, performance improvement, documentation standards, and health information management practices. Strengthen resident and family communication by resolving concerns with empathy, transparency, and a commitment to exceptional service. Coach, develop, and evaluate team members, creating accountability and a collaborative culture that supports employee engagement and excellent care outcomes. Collaborate with managed care, utilization review, care coordination, insurance verification, and patient access partners to support efficient admissions and continuity of care. Required Qualifications: You hold an active Licensed Nursing Home Administrator credential and have the ability to lead confidently in a regulated long-term care environment. You bring demonstrated healthcare administration or clinical operations leadership experience within skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, hospice, or a related post-acute setting. You have a strong record of improving patient satisfaction, resident outcomes, team performance, and operational results. You communicate effectively with residents, families, employees, providers, and community partners, even in complex or sensitive situations. You possess sound judgment, organizational discipline, and a hands-on leadership style that builds trust across departments. Preferred Experience: Experience with care management, utilization management, InterQual, managed care, or certified case management is valued. Knowledge of health information management, performance evaluation, admissions processes, and insurance verification will help you make an immediate impact.
