Location: Jersey City, NJ / New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Employment Type: W2 Contract; Not available C2C or 1099.

Rate: $60-68/hour W2

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced L2/L3 Production Support Engineer to support front-office trading applications within a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production and application support for trading systems.


• Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents and performance issues.


• Monitor applications using Splunk and Dynatrace.


• Write and execute Shell scripts and complex SQL queries.


• Work with UNIX/Linux and Windows servers, Oracle, and Sybase databases.


• Collaborate directly with traders and technical teams to resolve issues.

Required Skills:

• Experience in front-office trading and financial services.


• Strong UNIX/Linux, Shell scripting, and SQL skills.


• Experience with Oracle or Sybase databases.


• Familiarity with Splunk and Dynatrace.


• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.


• Flexibility to provide weekend support every 3–4 weeks.

Nice to Have: Python scripting and FX, Fixed Income, or Equities experience.
