Supplier Enablement Subject Matter Expert (Contract)

Pay: $46.67 hr

Location: Remote EST hours

Job Description

This is a hands-on contractor role with deeper process expertise than the wider enablement team. You will both execute the enablement work and act as the team's go-to expert. The role supports onboarding vendors to a global supplier portal, implementing new supplier transactional processes, and implementing procurement catalogs for suppliers as part of a Digital Transformation Project.

Supplier Communications and Automation (Primary Focus)

• Set up and own Power Automate for supplier communication automation: build and configure the flows, prepare everything, and run the automated communications
• Prepare and issue all supplier communications across the campaign, including multiple communication rounds and post-go-live messages
• Monitor supplier communications for the project, including mailbox monitoring, auto-replies, and tracking bouncebacks. Submit missing or invalid addresses to the local team and manage corrections
• Prepare and run the supplier survey and cXML questionnaire, manage responses, follow up with non-responsive suppliers, and drive supplier buy-in

Subject-Matter Expertise and Escalation

• Serve as first-level escalation and expert support for the enablement contractors on how to set up a cXML connection, build catalogs and PunchOut, send communications, and resolve errors (advisory support, not line management)
• Provide Coupa CSP and cXML process guidance, and validate and troubleshoot item-load files and cXML connections
• Prepare training documents and SOPs for catalogs and cXML, and run knowledge transfer so the team can execute consistently
• Schedule and lead meetings and initial conversations with cXML and PunchOut suppliers, and own status dashboards and reporting for your own supplier scope. You may interface with category managers and IT/DTS on dependencies

Core Enablement Delivery

• Build and migrate hosted and PunchOut catalogs and set up cXML connections, including the more complex ones (gather supplier information, set up the transmission document, align test scenarios, and test)
• Support supplier onboarding, master-data change requests, and cutover (prepare and organize files, run smoke tests), and track and report readiness

Qualifications

Required

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate, able to build and configure flows for communications
• Hands-on cXML, PunchOut, and hosted catalog setup experience, plus knowledge of EDI and EDI-to-cXML conversion
• Experience with a supplier portal (Coupa Supplier Portal preferred)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills, including explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• A self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal supervision. Mid-level, typically 3-5 years in procurement or supplier enablement
• Fluent English, spoken and written

Desirable

• Prior Coupa catalog or cXML enablement delivery on a transformation or migration program
• Knowledge of SAP
