Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk supports the accounts payable process by inputting invoices, coding, and routing for approval. This role involves preparing full-cycle invoice processing, verifying invoice accuracy, and supporting account reconciliations. You'll also assist with general accounting tasks and some administrative duties, contributing to the overall financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inputting accounts payable invoices, coding, and routing to approvers.
• Processing packing slips and supporting full-cycle invoice management, including check runs.
• Verifying invoices against purchase orders for accuracy and supporting invoice approvals.
• Assisting with account reconciliations and other accounting functions.
• Supporting accounts receivable with payment processing and related tasks.
• Performing general administrative duties as needed.
• Collaborating across departments and supporting project-related accounting activities.
• Maintaining accurate records and demonstrating attention to detail in all tasks.

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Proven ability to process invoices and perform account reconciliations.
• Experience with Vista Viewpoint or similar accounting software.
• Basic understanding of debits versus credits and accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and organized work ethic.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional bookkeeping or accounting certifications preferred.
