We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting functions across multiple regions. This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. accounting standards, financial reporting, and operational finance within a dynamic, creative environment. The Accounting Manager will lead a team ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements to support our global growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the U.S. accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and intracompany transactions.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, accounting standards.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
• Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, commercial, IT, and operations to support business initiatives.
• Manage and develop the accounting team, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements affecting the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
• Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams across multiple regions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting software. NetSuite preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

This role is on-site 5 days a week.

Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 plus bonus
