Global Edge Group is recruiting Systems Engineers at multiple seniority levels for an advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) program in Fairfax, Virginia.

This is an opportunity to work at the heart of modern Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT), delivering precise, resilient and trustworthy navigation capabilities. We want engineers who are enthusiastic about GNSS and motivated by systems where accuracy, integrity, availability and reliability truly matter.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of advanced GNSS, PNT and SBAS solutions.
• Perform requirements analysis, architecture development, interface definition and technical planning.
• Support system integration, verification, validation, acceptance and deployment.
• Assess system performance, safety, integrity, continuity, availability and technical risk.
• Produce and review requirements, designs, safety analyses, test plans and verification evidence.
• Coordinate with engineering, program, customer and supplier teams to resolve blockers.
• At senior levels, provide technical leadership, subcontractor oversight and leadership briefings.

What you will bring:

• Strong systems engineering experience within GNSS, PNT, SBAS, or a related algorithmically intensive, safety-critical environment.
• Experience with integrated software and hardware systems, SEIT, verification and validation.
• Ability to translate operational needs into testable and traceable requirements.
• Strong technical judgement, communication skills and confidence in global teams.
• SBAS experience and knowledge of SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, RTCA DO-178C, DO-278A or DO-254 are highly desirable. xevrcyc
