Position Title: Project Accountant

Location: Chantilly, VA - fully on-site

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $85-95K

Job Description:

• Coordinate project accounting activities between Project Managers, Accounting, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records and smooth workflows.
• Manage project documentation, subcontractor invoices, progress tracking, and timely owner payment applications.
• Support project budgets, change orders, budget adjustments, and project closeout activities.
• Prepare project reports and compile financial documentation for Accounting, including monthly profit reports and ERP entry.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, cost control issues are addressed, and owner walkthroughs are properly supported.
• Assist with project meetings, reporting, and communication to maintain alignment across project teams. xevrcyc
• Promote compliance with company quality standards and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies while fostering strong team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years' accounting experience within the construction industry
• BS degree within Accounting or Finance preferred but not required
• Excel proficiency
