Business Tax Expert - TurboTax Store (Los Angeles)

In this role you guide clients through personal and business tax needs at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location. You own the client relationship, provide tax strategy and preparation, and connect customers with Intuit's broader ecosystem. You help individuals and small businesses navigate complex scenarios while growing the local TurboTax client base. You work with a collaborative team and engage with the community to demystify taxes and build trust.

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation for consumer and business clients (simple to complex scenarios)
• Lead discovery sessions and tax reviews to maximize deductions and refunds and offer future planning
• Develop deep understanding of clients' financial picture and guide them to appropriate Intuit solutions
• Maintain central relationship ownership across services (bookkeeping, payroll, etc.)
• Deliver exceptional customer experience in-person and via video tools
• Act as a proactive community ambassador and local TurboTax representative
• Engage with prospects, nurture leads, and support local marketing initiatives

• 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season
• 3+ seasons of personal tax preparation experience (min 30 returns/year)
• General bookkeeping knowledge; willingness to upskill to QuickBooks ProAdvisor
• Experience advising small businesses on tax planning and year-round guidance
• State licenses/certificates/bonds as required; familiarity with Circular 230
• Willingness to work onsite in a TurboTax location, including weekends; front-facing retail environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
• Interest in local community presence and content creation (tax tips, videos)
• Ability to wear TurboTax uniform and engage in marketing activities
