Sr. Director, Finance Operations and Manufacturing (USA, Remote)

In this role you will serve as the strategic Finance leader for IDT and Aldevron Operations, tying operational performance to financial outcomes and enterprise value. You will establish scalable financial mechanisms to improve cost, capacity, quality, delivery, working capital, and profitability across the manufacturing network. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Commercial, and executive leadership to enhance financial visibility and guide capital decisions. This is a transformation-focused leadership position in a regulated, multi-site life sciences manufacturing environment with meaningful impact.

• Serve as senior Finance partner to Operations and Manufacturing across IDT and Aldevron, linking execution to value and strategy
• Build and lead financial operating mechanisms for cost, capacity, quality, delivery, inventory, and profitability visibility
• Design and scale product costing, standard costing, cost accounting, COGS management, inventory valuation, and profitability frameworks
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Commercial, R&D, and Corporate Finance to identify risks and opportunities early
• Support capital deployment, capacity expansion, manufacturing network planning, automation, ERP implementation, and business-case development
• Improve forecast accuracy, KPI governance, executive reporting, and business reviews across a complex footprint
• Lead Finance through transformation, integration, and continuous improvement with standard work and accountability
• Build and develop a high-performing Operations Finance team and Finance Business Partner capability across IDT and Aldevron

• 15+ years of progressive Finance leadership experience in manufacturing/operations/supply chain or technical operations
• 5+ years leading leaders or senior teams
• Experience supporting multi-site operational finance in biotech/pharma/CDMO/medical device or regulated manufacturing
• Deep expertise in product costing, standard costing, cost accounting, COGS management, variance analysis, absorption costing, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis
• Strong P&L management, cost structures, inventory optimization, capital deployment, capacity investments, forecasting, and S&OP processes
• Experience with ERP systems, enterprise reporting, executive KPI dashboards, and advanced financial modeling
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and implement disciplined operating mechanisms
