Director, Innovation & Business Transformation

In this role, you will steer multiple interlinked, technology-enabled transformation programs within Medical Writing Science, turning strategic priorities into a coordinated slate of initiatives. You'll partner with subject matter experts to redesign workflows and implement digital and AI-enabled solutions, ensuring adoption and ongoing operations. You will govern risk, AI ethics, and governance across initiatives while managing dependencies and resources. You'll lead organizational readiness and change activities to embed new capabilities and deliver measurable business impact. • Translate transformation priorities into a sequenced slate of initiatives with clear outcomes and success metrics
• Direct execution of complex technology-enabled transformations across clinical regulatory document development, scientific publications, and knowledge management
• Partner with SMEs to translate needs into digital, AI, analytics, and automation solutions
• Oversee lifecycle governance, adoption, and transition to steady-state operations
• Identify cross-initiative dependencies, risks, and resource constraints; address delivery challenges
• Lead change management and organizational readiness to embed new capabilities into processes and roles
• Monitor initiative performance and provide insights to inform future priorities
• Provide leadership and coaching to cross-functional teams to improve collaboration and accountability

• Significant experience in business transformation, AI enablement, analytics, or operating model change within a regulated environment
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into coordinated initiatives with measurable outcomes
• Strong understanding of life sciences and application of AI, data, and digital platforms to workflows
• Experience guiding complex, cross-functional initiatives from assessment through value realization
• Ability to assess technical capabilities and facilitate decisions without owning the solution
• Experience applying governance, responsible AI, privacy, security, and compliance principles
• Strong analytical and strategic judgment for managing dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
• Proven matrix leadership and stakeholder influence in complex organizations
