Enterprise Risk Management Consultant - Business Transformation (BT) Initiatives

In this role you will support the Fed. Govt. Agency by maturing its ERM program and integrating risk management with strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making. You'll collaborate with PMO and control teams to align people, processes, and tech, delivering risk insights and governance across the enterprise. This is a mission-driven, federal-sector engagement focused on safeguarding public health through robust risk management and stakeholder outreach. You will drive measurable improvements through a structured, collaborative approach and formalized processes.

• Provide ERM strategy and guidance within the agency
• Support PMO activities and project management oversight for ERM initiatives
• Maintain and update the risk register and risk profile
• Assist with FMFIA assurance and external reporting requirements
• Develop outreach materials and facilitate Risk Community meetings
• Prepare briefings and logistics for ERM Council meetings and leadership
• Enhance risk management framework with analytics, dashboards, and decision-support tools
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks across enterprise, centers, and offices

• Consecutive relevant work experience within past 5 years
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor degree (or equivalent)
• ERM certification or equivalent experience
• Strategic planning certification or equivalent
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools
• U.S. Citizenship
• Facility Access Authorization clearance or eligibility
• Ability to travel as needed in accordance with regulations
